A Letter to Myself

Today, I received the letter I wrote to myself this summer while I was in Israel.  Before you think I am meshugganah, let me explain.  Before we left Israel,  we were given paper and pens to write a letter to ourselves.  What did we want to remember? What had we learned? What did we want to tell ourselves?  Those were some suggestions given.  So, we wrote our letters and sealed them, and AISH sent them from Israel. The words I wrote are a reminder to me, an inspiration for me, to make sure I am always attempting to be a light and to be a vessel for greater good in this world.  I hope I remember Israel forever.  I hope I never forget her inspiration.  And I hope some day I am able to visit again.

Light.  Love.  Connection.
