ROOTED

 We interrupt Zane's Questions with a brief word about the New Year...

 

Every secular New Year's eve, I pick an inspiration word and make a little printable poster as a reminder. Some past year's words have been SIMPLICITY or FOCUS. This year, though, I chose ROOTED. Here are some of the thoughts I've had that led me to choose this word.

ROOTED

grow inner roots

a physical desire to be grounded

to do solid work - make, create, touch

like a seed in the ground, there is a desire to sprout roots

become, becoming

rooted and established in love

rooted in Torah

reach, grow, bask in sunlight
